i need to update itunes to 7.7 or whatever. since i only have dial up at home , must i take my own computer to a faster internet to dnld or can i use a computer at the library and somehow get it onto mine/ . i must do this before i can take advantage of all the new apps out there for the touch. OK, then once i have the new tunes loaded, what to do to get safari updated and downloaded too. also, seems like there are some sort of restrictions on if you can upload, download, etc., what are they? i am running windows xp pro, will that work; and my touch ipod is less than a year old. can someone help me with this, i know, I'm an idiot.

Just get to a computer that can download and download the updates to a folder that you made and when the downloads are finished put that folder onto a flash drive (bring a 2gb flash drive just to be safe) then put the folder onto your computer and run it from there.
