anyone know of any apps that will let me get data back off my touch ?
i know there are a few for normal ipods... but haven't seen any for the touch.

no i mean being able to recover music/video form the ipod. for example, i have some tv episodes on it (manually added), i then removed them from my mac. would be software that allowed me to recover said videos back on to the mac.

Oh, I see. You should be able to do that over iTunes. [While your iPod is connected to your computer] Select 'File' and then click 'Transfer Purchases from "******"'
...If that doesn't work try contacting Apple Support @ 1-800-MY-APPLE
...Their support technicians are some of the best I've come across over the years..

there are not itunes purchases though... these are converted DVDs etc.

Oh, in that case I'm not exactly sure. I know with my 5g iPod video I could select 'Manually manage music and videos' and then from there you could select 'Enable Disk Use' and then just drag and drop whatever you wanted... But I'm not so sure about the iPod Touch. Try posting over at www.ipodtouchfans.com..Sorry I couldn't really help...
