I don't know what to think. My VZW friend hasn't heard any sort of delay or specifically a software problem. I'm not saying there wasn't one, but he hasn't heard of it. He said to me its probably going to be anyday. I don't know if it will be out in a few days or a few months at this pt.

On Verizon Wireless's main website they have a section on the bottom right with usually their top phones that you can scroll through and check out. Today they put the razr v3m in that lineup of phones you can scroll through. The phone is now only 49.99, it could have been that cheap before but i'm not sure. That sounds pretty cheap to me. If they are advertising it on their main page and it is that cheap that must mean they are trying to sell a lot of them to possibly make room for a new razr.

Yeah... Circuit City is selling the Razr at like 49 and the Krzr at 79. It is very clear that someone is trying to get rid of some Moto phones for something.

So all the speculation over at HoFo was probably because people hadn't heard anything and got worried that there was a delay. I sure hope it comes out this Monday, otherwise I may just have to jump ship and buy another phone because my contract ended 3 months ago, so I've just been waiting around for something new to come out. It would certainly make sense to as my RyRy was laughing at the speculation; he was one of the first people to talk about a March 5th release date. Also, don't forget, the FCC pictures and user manual for the Ve will be released this Monday.

What do you mean FCC releases on Monday? I thought those have been out for months now.

tinyurl.com/3cc94wLook at the date available on the right column. These have already been released: tinyurl.com/2pn22z*Notice the one with pictures available March 5th is IHDT56GJ 1, while the ones which were released on January 28th is filed under IHDT56GJ 2.

I didn't even realize that the V6 version didn't have autofocus. That is a feature that I really like on the Ve.

I've got my fingers crossed, because if it's not out by Tuesday than I'll have to let this one go and just pick up the a990.

The thing about the a990 is that it is so expensive. 250 after NE2 upgrade is a lot.

It is interesting. Throughout the pages and pages of crap on the FCC sites... there are confidentiality agreements that seem to go until Jan. 14th. After that I do not see any confidentiality agreement extensions. Motorola had made a few extension requests dating back to like September and October for 45 days. I do not see one for after the one ending Jan 14th.
If there was one then it would have ended February 28th.

so what does that mean? is it scrapped? I did speak to a verizon store at go wireless and they said they did get promo sheets for this phone on saturday. but i have seen nothing on the web that this phone is making its way to verizon anytime soon.

I have no idea as to whether it was scrapped or not. It definitely IMO is not scrapped. I just found it interesting, unless there is another confidentiality agreement that we do not know about, that they appear to have run out. It doesn't look, besides some potential software issue or bug, that there cud be anything still holding back the release.
