Sounds like you have a 1.1.2 iPod (you can check by going into Settings'> 'General'> 'About'... and it should be under 'Version'). If you do in fact have a 1.1.2 iPod, you'll have to downgrade it to 1.1.1 in order to jailbreak it. then you can install OktoPrep. And then upgrade back to 1.1.2. And finally re-jailbreak, so your end result will be a jailbroken 1.1.2 iPod. If you have a 1.1.2 iPod, follow these instructions: This first: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLFiUCq7IHcThen this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXfcnO4kjB4

Nope. OktoPrep can only be installed after jailbreaking your iPod Touch.

This is odd.. I haven't heard reports of this until now... I'll try looking into it and post back here as soon as I find a fix. Just to clarify the problem...basically, your browser isn't working in 1.1.1?
..You could try contacting Apple Support (but don't mention you're trying to hack it).
